In other Alligator news, the official cover is up at SPD. Matt Kish, whose work I have long admired (and whose book Moby Dick in Pictures is easily one of my favorites of the year), is the artist. I'm hardly exaggerating when I say it's probably my all time favorite book cover, and would be no matter the author.
