New and Notes

Some excellent reviews of DIPHTHERIA have been finding their way into the world these last few weeks. Check out this one by Brandi Wells at The Lit Pub, this one by David Tomaloff at Specter, and this one by Amber Sparks at Big Other. These are the first three reviews to be written about my little book, so obviously I'm excited and humbled that these three writers took the time to say some nice things.

Otherwise, there has not been much to report for the last little while. Other than shopping my wares, I have been hard at work on a new novel, the second volume of a projected five volume work. This volume is to be titled HIS BLACK MOUNTAIN and aims to be about the relationship between an orphan and the Almighty as the boy grows into a man and learns about the world. Summarized like that it sounds a little bland, but you'll just have to take my word for it that it is shaping up to be something I'm excited about.

Autographs N' Alligators

The next 10 who order my ode to love and loss, death and life, HOW THE DAYS OF LOVE & DIPHTHERIA, will receive an autographed copy and a newly composed alligator poem. And for those of you reading this who are thinking "Well, it'll probably just be a haiku" allow me to assure you this poem will not be a haiku.
